Security

We take security very seriously. We've designed security into Aero from the ground up. We take security very seriously. We've designed security into MarketingPilot from the ground up. We take security very seriously. Aero's layered approach to security ensures that your important information is safe and sound.

User Access
Integrated access control requires users to login with a User ID and password with strong passwords and mandatory password rotation.

Roles/Teams
User roles determine which functions a user can access and whether or not a user can view or edit specific information. Team membership restricts user access to specific information. Only users on the team can access information.

Data Integrity
Your data is never commingled with other users' and is stored in a separate database file.

Internet Security
Aero uses 128-bit SSL encryption when transferring information from our servers to your computer.

Symantec Virus Protection
We rely on world-class Symantec virus protection software.

Data Center Security
The Aero data center is a SAS 70 Type II certified facility with biometric ID access controls. Access is limited to specifically authorized personnel. The facility has around the clock security staff, video surveillance, environmental monitoring and network monitoring. A fire suppression system is in place, as well as a powerful diesel generator power backup system. The data center has redundant power feeds, battery backup for brief interruptions and diesel generators for extended power outages. A redundant HVAC system maintains temperature and humidity. Even a prolonged power outage will not interrupt operations as the generators can support round the clock operations for the entire data center.

MarketingPilot’s servers are located in locked cages to prevent unauthorized access. Servers are connected to the internet via redundant network adapters to a high speed fiber optic local network that is connected to multiple internet backbone operators. Servers have RAID disks, redundant power supplies and redundant cooling subsystems. Servers are protected by redundant firewalls.

Windows Server and SQL Server
Data for each client is subject to access controls enforced by the operating system and database management system. We keep these current with security updates.
